Marie claims that it is her sole duty as the Kusumi-no-Okami to vanish along with the Empty Forest while carrying all of the fog produced by the fall of Ameno-Sagiri. That was the only way to save everyone. Determined to carry out her purpose, she tries her best to push Yu and the others away, but their genuine concern finally moves her to let her true feelings come out. “Save me, Yu.” With Marie’s honest plea for help, the fallen friends are able to pick themselves up once more, as the final battle to rescue Marie begins!
