Sensing something ominous about Adachi, Marie pursues him to discover who he really is. Yu, worried about Marie, catches up to her, and Marie loses Adachi when Yu calls out to her. She warns him, “You should stay away from that man.” Meanwhile, despite Marie’s warning, Yu keeps approaching Adachi, because “I just can’t let him be for some reason.” Adachi tells him, “There’s no way to know if what you do for somebody would really help them.” Then Nanako appears on the Midnight Channel…
